CHOOSE FROM:

• Rees River Trail - 2.5hrs in the saddle

• A perfect half day trek for beginners and experienced riders. Picturesque views of the mountains, glacial river crossings in Rees Valley, and many filming locations from Lord of the Rings. A great tour for beginners to learn and for experienced riders to canter.

• Rees River Pro - 3hrs in the saddle (experienced riders only)

• Breath taking views in Rees Valley, with picturesque views of the mountains and glacial river crossings. This ride features all the scenic highlights of our Rees River Trail and is where our guides and horses go to play. Opportunities to go at a fast pace and explore the beautiful land. Suitable for experienced riders only, need to be confident and have ridden for a number of years.

• The rides depart from the High Country horse stables in Glenorchy
• Glenorchy is located 45-60 minutes drive from Queenstown and you must get your own way there

• Please bring long trousers, suitable sturdy footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen
• Bring your camera, sunglasses & water
• Wear sturdy footwear (toes enclosed). Gym shoes are fine

Terms And Conditions

• Self drive required (Queenstown is 45 minutes from Glenorchy)
• Minimum age is 7 years old for the Rees River Trial
• Minimum age is 8 years old for the Rees River Pro
• All children 14 years old and under MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Wear sturdy footwear (toes enclosed). Gym shoes are fine
• Bring your camera, sunglasses & water
• Maximum weight limit of 95kgs
• If incorrect weight is listed and you are unable to ride on the day, you will not be entitled to a refund
• Please bring long trousers, suitable sturdy footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen
• During winter please bring warm layers including socks, gloves, scarf

Cancellation Policy

• All booking cancellations 7 days prior to your trek date will be refunded in full.
• 50% of the booking cost will be refunded between 7 days and 24 hours before your trek date.
• No refund is available within 24 hours of your departure date unless exceptional circumstances arise.
• If incorrect weight is listed and you are unable to ride on the day, you will not be entitled to a refund
