Note

Temporary pool closures:

• Rachel Pool (Pavilion area) closed from 28 April for ~3 weeks.
• Alkaline pool (Pavilion area) closed for a few days during this period.
• Family Pools closed from 18 May for 7 days.

Inclusions

• Access to Polynesian Spa's Family Pools
• We have 28 pools in four bathing areas that are priced accordingly – Deluxe Lake Spa, Pavilion Pools, Family Pools, and Private Bathing. There is no access from each area into the other complex bathing pools
• If you are after the ultimate indulgence choose the Deluxe Lake Spa, set amongst native New Zealand flora and overlooking Lake Rotorua.
• Lockers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and body lotion are included
• One large geothermally heated chlorinated freshwater pool, and two shallow hot mineral pools for all to enjoy. There is even a small hydro slide!
• There is no access between the different bathing pools at the complex

• Towels, lockers and swimwear are NOT included but can be hired at additional cost

Operating Hours

• Polynesian Spa is five minutes walk to central Rotorua and two minutes walk to the closest hotels – the Millennium Hotel and the Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua. Other major hotels and accommodation are a five minute drive away
• Open every day (including Christmas and Public Holidays) from 8am to 11pm with the last pool entry at 10.15pm (spa therapies 10am to 7pm). Our mineral pools are open and spa therapies available under all weather conditions
• Please note autumn and winter will affect the operational hours of the family pools, hours will be adjusted to 8am to 9pm with the last pool entry at 8:15pm

Additional Information

• Please note private pools have to be booked in advance, please advise your preferred time
• There is no access between the different bathing pools at the complex
• Free onsite car parking
• The venue is wheelchair accessible, however there are no hoists into the pools
• Pool temperatures range from 33C- 42C
• Changing rooms and showers are available
• Swimwear has to be worn when bathing in the pools
• Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult
• Children under 5 years are free of charge with the exception of the Lake Spa where ages 0-2 years are free of charge
• Pool opening hours are subject to change without notice
• Swimwear and behaviour requirements:
• Only purpose‑made swimwear in approved synthetic fabrics allowed.
• No cotton, denim, underwear, or loose garments.
• Respect quiet zones, no phones/music in pool areas, and no photographing other bathers.

Cancellation Policy

• For direct pool bookings (public or private), you can reschedule your booking up to three months ahead if you let us know at least 12 hours before your scheduled time
• We do not provide refunds, and changes requested with less than 12 hours’ notice are non-refundable and non-transferable
• For Retreat Day Spa therapies, a minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or change a booking for a full refund
• Cancellations or changes with less than 12 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
